HS: Rosters Announced for Inaugural Adrenaline Girls’ Showcase

July 4th, 2010

All-Americans, team Most Valuable Players and all-conference selections highlight the rosters for the inaugural Adrenaline Girls’ Showcase.

The event, which will take place July 9-11 at the University of California Santa Barbara, is the first of its kind in the Western United States and will feature the top 120 players from the West as recommended by high school and college coaches and local talent evaluators. See the final rosters at this link.

“We are very excited to see this program take off with the support of teams and coaches throughout the West,” said Kaitlin Swagart of Adrenaline Lacrosse. “The players at this event are superior, and it feels good to finally provide a proper platform upon which they can show off their talents.”

Players from Northern and Southern California, Arizona, Nevada, Washington, Oregon, Texas and Colorado will be represented at the event, and 30 NCAA and WDIA coaches will be on hand to scout and conduct college level clinics. Among the programs with representatives attending are Connecticut, Vermont, University of California Berkeley, Oregon, St. Mary’s and Amherst. A complete list of programs that will be represented at the event can be found at this link.

“With this high caliber of player, the clinics that recruiters can hold will be very advanced and mirror the types of drills we do with our college programs,” said Showcase Director Ginger Miles, the coach at Claremont McKenna and a former standout at Virginia. “It will definitely challenge the players and help us see them in a tough and competitive setting.”

The Showcase is sponsored by Adrenaline Movement, Warrior, Brine, New Balance and Powerade. Each player will receive a free trial of Lacrosserecruits.com’s on-line player profiling system.
