SoCAL GIRLS: Natasha Markham Commits to UC Davis

Tesoro senior middie-attack Natasha Markham has committed to play NCAA Division I lacrosse at UC Davis.
Markham is one of two Tesoro players to commit to an NCAA Division I program. She joins senior Sara Weber, who is heading to Fresno State in the fall.
“She has great stick skills, excellent field awareness and she is a really hard worker,” Tesoro head coach Gretchen Queen said of Markham. “She was a brand-new player three years ago. She really wanted to play Division I and just put her nose to the grindstone. She’s really polished her game and taken it to a new level.”
Queen said she expects Markham to be a strong college player.
“She’ll have to work hard, but she’ll do just fine,” Queen said. “Her endurance and her speed are definitely up there.”
