SoCAL GIRLS: Sara Weber Commits to Fresno State

Tesoro senior middie Sara Weber has committed to play NCAA Division I lacrosse at Fresno State University.

Weber is the second Southern Californian to chose the new Fresno State program. When she arrives in the fall, Weber will be joining Valley Center’s Taylor Fiehler.

“She’s a phenomenal player,” Tesoro head coach Gretchen Queen said of Weber. “She’s a dream player to coach. She has a great attitude, is extremely coachable and has a great work ethic.”

Queen said she believes Weber will make an immediate impact at Fresno State.

“She’s up to the caliber of playing Division I on the East Coast,” Queen said. “She’s a very well-balanced player. She’s just great all around.”
