Douglas County senior middie Dan Hardardt has committed to play NCAA Division I lacrosse at Bucknell University.

Hardardt said he picked Bucknell over Mercyhurst, Stevenson and Ursinus.

“I just thought it was the best fit academically,” Hardardt said. “I wanted to make sure that I prepared myself for after college. I want to go to med school.”

Hardardt said he will be prepared when he arrives on campus.

“I’ve always been adaptable,” he said. “I’ll definitely have to get bigger and stronger in order to play freshman year. It’ll be a good challenge for me.”
