SoCAL GIRLS: MacKenzie Gloven Commits to Columbia

La Jolla senior middie MacKenzie Gloven has committed to play NCAA Division I lacrosse at Columbia University.
Gloven said she chose Columbia over UC Davis, Quinnipiac and Davidson.
“I visited the school in the summer and I liked it,” Gloven said. “The coach really seemed like she had the team under control, and the team seemed like it was heading in the right direction.”
Gloven added: “I wanted my experience to be different than the West Coast. I was looking for the most unique experience I could out of college.”
Gloven said she is fired up to take her game to the other side of the country.
“I’ve always wanted to go to the East Coast to play lacrosse,” she said. “That’s always been my dream. I think it will be a great experience to play with girls who started playing lacrosse there.”
