COL BOYS: Kyle Hercher Signs With Denver

Heritage senior defenseman Kyle Hercher has signed a national letter of intent to play NCAA Division I lacrosse at the University of Denver.

Hercher is one of two Coloradans and one of four West Siders that Denver inked during the early-signing period. Hercher joins Arapahoe’s Drew Babb and two Californians among the nine recruits landed by the Pioneers.

Hercher captained the Heritage lacrosse team last season and will again this year.

“We are excited to have Kyle in the program,” Denver head coach Jamie Munro said in a news release. “He has great size, quickness and very good hands. He will fit into our system perfectly.”
