Cherry Creek senior defenseman Zach Arthur has committed to play NCAA Division I lacrosse at Hobart College.

Arthur said he picked Hobart over Colorado College because he felt it was the best fit for him.

“I went out there and really liked the campus,” Arthur said. “I liked (the coaches) a lot, their vision for the program and the influence I could have on the program. I liked a lot of the teammates, and it was the right fit in a lot of ways.”

Arthur added that he is excited to play the game at a higher level.

“I’m really looking forward to it,” he said. “It’s something I’ve wanted to do for a long time. I hope I can transfer over as well as from middle school to high school. In high school, there are a lot of really good kids and a lot of average kids. I’m excited to play with a lot of really good kids.”
