MINN GIRLS: Michelle Tremblay Signs With Notre Dame

Blake School senior Michelle Tremblay has signed a national letter of intent to play NCAA Division I lacrosse at the University of Notre Dame.

Tremblay, a 5-foot-7 attacker, was a U.S. Lacrosse All-American selection as a junior. She compiled 100 points on 66 goals and 34 assists to lead Blake to a state championship.

A first-team, All-State selection the last two seasons, Tremblay is Blake’s all-time leading scorer. She also letters in ice hockey and soccer.

“Michelle is strong and athletic and a very competitive player,” Notre Dame head coach Tracy Coyne said in a news release. “She has been a leader throughout her high school career and is respected by her peers. She has tremendous upside and will benefit from being a part of the Notre Dame environment. Along with a great work ethic, she will add a tough, gritty style of play to our program.”
