KAN GIRLS: Molly Crawford Signs With UC Berkeley

Notre Dame de Sion senior middie Molly Crawford has signed a national letter of intent to play NCAA Division I lacrosse at UC Berkeley.

Crawford, a native of Leawood, Kan., just outside Kansas City, is the second lacrosse player from Notre Dame de Sion to sign an NCAA Division I national letter of intent in the last three years. Notre Dame de Sion alum Cassie Novick, a Mission Hills, Kan., native, scored two goals in four games as a freshman last season at the University of Denver.

Notre Dame de Sion does not have a girls high school lacrosse program, but Crawford has played club ball with the Skywalkers and X-Team clubs, according to a UC Berkeley news release.

“Crawford will add strength and power to the Bears’ midfield,” the news release said.
