SoCAL BOYS: Jack Cranston Signs With Vermont

Santa Margarita Catholic senior attackman Jack Cranston has signed a national letter of intent to play NCAA Division I lacrosse at the University of Vermont.

When he heads to New England next fall, Cranston will become the first person in Santa Margarita school history to play lacrosse at the NCAA Division I level.

Cranston is the school’s record holder in goals, assists and points. Last season, he compiled 81 points on 51 goals and 30 assists.

In 2008, Cranston was an All-Orange County and All-Trinity League selection.
