SoCAL GIRLS: Taylor Fiehler Signs With Fresno State

Valley Center senior middie Taylor Fiehler has signed a national letter of intent to play NCAA Division I lacrosse at Fresno State University.

Fiehler has been Valley Center’s most valuable player the last three seasons. She was a team captain and a 2008 All-North County, first-team selection in San Diego County, and she also holds a coaching license.

Fiehler is the first player from San Diego County to sign with Fresno State.

“Taylor is a disciplined student-athlete,” Fresno State head coach Sue Behme said. “She brings enthusiasm and athleticism to our program and the will to succeed. Taylor’s desire to compete and also coach and help develop girls’ lacrosse in the Central Valley as a Fresno State student-athlete is very special.”
