COL BOYS: Patrick Murray Commits to Georgetown
February 4th, 2008
Kent Denver junior middie Patrick Murray has committed to play NCAA Division I lacrosse at Georgetown University, Kent Denver Coach Tom Graesser said.
Murray, who is 6-foot-2, 225 pounds, was named by Inside Lacrosse as one of the nation's top juniors.
"He was a first-line midfielder as a sophomore and had a couple game-winning goals," Graesser said. "He's a tremendous athlete and has an excellent shot. He uses his size very, very well. He's a prototypical middie."
Graesser said he expects Murray to shine at Georgetown.
"I think he'll do very well," Graesser said. "He's very coachable, so I think he'll fit into the Division I mold as aggressive, tough and tenacious."
