December 10th, 2007

From Press Releases

Hendrix College has named Ryan Kuhn as the newest addition to its men's lacrosse team.

Kuhn has been hired to be an assistant coach and will serve under Jeremy Lichtig in the Warriors' inaugural campaign, which begins Feb. 23, 2008 with an exhibition against Harding University.

The 22-year-old is a graduate of Manhattanville College. Kuhn began his collegiate career at Adelphi University in 2003 and transferred to Manhattanville in 2005.

"It's an honor and a privilege to join coach Lichtig's staff and the Hendrix family," Kuhn said. "I am very excited to help coach Lichtig start this program and develop the sport of lacrosse in Arkansas."

While at Adelphi, Kuhn received NYCAC Academic All-Conference honors as a freshman and sophomore. Kuhn was named team captain and received Skyline Academic All-Conference honors as a junior and senior at Manhattanville. Kuhn was the first transfer student in Manhattanville's school history to be named team captain.

Kuhn joins the Warriors after serving as an assistant coach at Suffolk Community College.

"Hendrix is a phenomenal institution that is committed to excellence both on the field and in the classroom, and I intend to help this program develop into a nationally recognized team," Kuhn said.
