NEV BOYS: Nick Petersen Commits to NDNU

Centennial senior attackman Nick Petersen has committed to play NCAA Division II lacrosse at Notre Dame de Namur University, NDNU Coach Joseph Romano said.
Petersen helped lead Centennial to the Las Vegas Lacrosse League championship as a junior and a semifinal appearance in the league playoffs as a senior.
Petersen is one of three top Nevada seniors who will be heading to NDNU next season. He will join high school teammate Josh Ferreiro and Bonanza senior Nick Campo in an Argos uniform in 2008.
"He's a tall, lanky attackman with a lot of range," Romano said. "He's a tough player. He knows Josh and Nick, and those three all coming at once is awesome."
