NLL: Arizona Goalie Named Player of the Week

Arizona Sting goalie Rob Blasdell has been named National Lacrosse League Player of the Week after leading the Sting to two wins in a home-and-home series against the Portland LumberJax.
Blasdell turned away 49 shots and tied a league record by allowing just four goals in an 11-4 Sting victory Friday night. On Saturday, he saved 27 shots and even had an assist in a second Arizona win.
For his effort, Blasdell also took home the league's Defensive Player of the Week award.
