Notre Dame de Sion senior middie Cassie Novick has signed a national letter of intent to play NCAA Division I lacrosse at the University of Denver.

A native of Mission Hills, Kan., Novick plays in the Missouri Scholastic Lacrosse Association for the Kansas City girls lacrosse club team.

According to a Denver news release, Novick led Missouri in goals and points per game last season. Novick is her team's leading scorer and a two-time offensive MVP for her club. She is a team captain and last year was named first-team All-State and All-Conference.
