TEX HS: Zach Kurzweil Named New Anderson Head Coach
December 11th, 2009
Anderson High School has named Zach Kurzweil as the new head coach of its boys varsity lacrosse team.
Kurzweil, 25, replaces John Rosacker, who will stay on with the program and become the head coach of the school’s JV team, Kurzweil said.
A native of Plano, Tex., Kurzweil played four seasons of MCLA Division I lacrosse as a goalie at Texas Tech from 2003 to 2006. He has been an assistant coach at Anderson for the past three seasons, so he should know his players well.
This will be Kurzweil’s first head coaching job.
“The fact that it’s my fourth year with the program, I’m pretty confident going into the season,” Kurzweil said.
