Concept: Ranking of Top 25 players from each class in the West based on a evaluations done by an independent committee, which is a combination of college coaches, as well as Western lacrosse leaders. Evaluations will be conducted at WSL-sanctioned events throughout the year. The “West” shall be defined as the 24 states within the WSL coverage area, from the Mississippi River to the Pacific Ocean, including Alaska and Hawaii.

Sanctioned Events: Officially sanctioned WSL events are chosen because they have a demonstrated history of drawing a significant number of the region’s best players. Players must attend one event to be ranked, however, the more events an individual attends, the more thoroughly evaluated that player will be. The following events in 2010 will be WSL Elite 25 sanctioned.

1. Adrenaline Challenge
2. Adrenaline Showcase
3. Adrenaline Shootout
4. Texas 99
5. University of Denver Pioneer Team Camp
6. University of Notre Dame Camp
7. West Coast Starz Summer Event
8. West Coast Starz Fall Event
9. Adrenaline High Rollers

Rankings: WSL’s Elite 25 Boys Individual Player Rankings will be released twice a year: In the fall and spring.

Money Grab

This list is clearly a money grab for Adrenaline camps & tourneys.  Funny how Mercer Island is consistently a top 3 team in the state and has sent players to Yale, Georgtown, Bowdin, Onadaga etc..  and they have only their goalie (the least impressive of their defensive unit) on the rankings.  MI prefers to keep their kids together in the offseason and doesn't participate in Starz and doesn't patronize Adrenaline... so no players on the list yet they have some of the best players in WA.

Not sure about your point?

So if Mercer prefers not to 'patronize' Adrenaline, then what do you care about this list?  Mercer is a great team. They do their own thing. But they shouldn't be expecting to be on this list (and they probably don't care anynow).  Oh by the way, if I was voting, I'd put CB up there.  His two long-stick goals against Lincoln were beautiful.

ryan mix

where is ryan mix on this list. not even an honorable mention. r u kidding me west side lax? The kid is going to Notre dame, half the kids on that list are undecided. Mix decided his junior year. these are ridiculous.
