Hillcrest senior attackman Trevor Atkins has committed to play NCAA Division I lacrosse at Colgate University.

Atkins, who attends Lake Highlands High School, was one of Division II’s top players in 2010, finishing with 112 points on 81 goals and 31 assists. He has been a captain on the varsity team since his sophomore season.

Atkins will be joining his older sister at Colgate. Avery Atkins plays on the school’s Division I women’s soccer team.
