MEN: Top Canadian Commits to Dominican University

Dominican University of California has landed one of the top high school lacrosse players from Western Canada.
Tyler Garrison, a senior middie who attends Dr. Charles Best Secondary School in Coquitlam, B.C., will play for the San Rafael, Calif.-based school. Garrison also considered Whittier, Hofstra and Limestone before settling on Dominican.
“I really loved the campus and the people running the program, and I really felt comfortable in the atmosphere,” Garrison said. “I thought Dominican would be my best fit.”
Garrison added that his is pumped to take his game south of the border.
“I can’t wait to take my game to the next level,” Garrison said. “The Canadian field lacrosse game is so much different, so I’m excited to learn the American game will hopefully find success in it.”
