Ladue senior goalie Thomas Deane has committed to play NCAA Division III lacrosse at Ohio Wesleyan University.

Deane is one of two Ladue seniors who have committed to play college lacrosse, joining NCAA Division I-bound Sam Hurster, who will be heading to Brown University.

“Ohio Wesleyan was always one of my top choices, so it just worked out really well that I could go there,” Deane said.

Deane added that he believes he can be successful at the higher level.

“It’ll be a tough transition, but I’ll be working hard in the offseason,” he said. “I think I can play well at the Division III level, and it should be a really fun time.”
