TEX HS: THSLL Reschedules Postponed Playoff Games

The Texas High School Lacrosse League has rescheduled its state playoffs pending a University Interscholastic League decision to resume extracurricular activities on May 11 as scheduled.

According to a report on THSLL.org, the organization’s board of directors decided Monday night to resume the district playoffs on Monday May 11 and complete them by Thursday May 14. The state tournament would then begin Friday night, May 15, with a Division II state semifinal.

Both Division I state semifinals and the second Division II semifinal will be played Saturday May 16, and the Division I and Division II state championship games will be played Sunday May 17.

The state championships will be held in Austin at House Park Field.

“This schedule is subject to any further extension of the ‘no play’ issued by UIL,” according to the league web site.

May 11-14: District playoffs resume
Friday May 15: Division II semifinal, Central District vs. San Antonio District, 7:30 p.m., CDT
Saturday May 16: Division II semifinal, North District vs. South District, 10 a.m., CDT
Saturday May 16: Division I semifinal, No. 1 seed vs. No. 4 seed, 5 p.m., CDT
Saturday May 16: Division I semifinal, No. 2 seed vs. No. 3 seed, 7:30 p.m., CDT
Sunday May 17: Division II state championship game, 11 a.m., CDT
Sunday May 17: Division I state championship game, 1:30 p.m., CDT
