Senior attack-middie Susan Killeavy registered a game-high eight points on five goals and three assists to lead unbeaten Westwood to a 12-7 victory over Westlake in a Texas Girls High School Lacrosse League Central District game Monday night.
Senior middie Michela Garrison added three goals, senior middie Olivia Hoang scored twice and sophomore attack Kayla Jones had a goal and an assist for Westwood, which improved to 5-0.
Junior middie Katelyn Kessler scored once to round out the scoring.
Westlake (0-2) lost its second straight to start the season.
The game was tied, 5-5, at halftime, and it was tied two more times during the second half, at 6-6 and 7-7. But Westwood finished the game by scoring five unanswered goals during the final 10 minutes.
