Defensively, goalie Donnie Murray saved 21 shots.

In the cage, goalie Keith Clemens made 15 saves.
The game was tied, 1-1, at the end of the first quarter, 3-3, at halftime and Southwestern led 6-4 at the end of the third quarter.
Hendrix opened the fourth quarter with back-to-back goals to draw level, and the teams then traded goals right down to the finish.
Southwestern led, 8-7, late in regulation, but Wojcik forced overtime when he scored with 1:08 to play.
