Kingwood senior goalie Shelby Wichkoski has committed to play NCAA Division II lacrosse at Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colo.

Wichkoski has started in the cage since her freshman season and has a career save percentage of 47.6 percent.

Fort Lewis head coach Kelley Queisser described Wichkoski as a small, quick and feisty goalie who has tremendous poise in the cage, communicates well and is fundamentally sound.

“Shelby has a lot of great experience (that) she is going to bring to FLC,” Queisser said. “She has attended the finest camps and played in multiple elite tournaments. That experience has molded her into a phenomenal goalie.”
