St. Louis University Jesuit senior defenseman Sean Meagher has committed to play NCAA Division I lacrosse at Robert Morris University.

Meagher said he also considered Sacred Heart and Wittenberg before settling on the Pittsburgh-based school where his older brother Mike Meagher currently plays. Mike Meagher, who also played high school lacrosse at SLUH, is a sophomore defenseman.

“I’ve visited there a couple times when I visited my brother, and I liked the guys on the team,” Sean Meagher said. “That impacted my final decision.”

Sean Meagher said he is amped to take his game to the college level and play with his brother. He said, at SLUH, the pair never played together.

“I’m expecting it’s going to be a lot of work,” Sean Meagher said. “Right now, I’m hitting the weights so I can gain some weight. But I’m excited to get up there.”
