Centennial senior middie Sean Kulczyk has committed to play NCAA Division III lacrosse at Fontbonne University.
Kulczyk said he also considered Dominican, Wells College and Genesee Community College, but settled on the St. Louis-based school because it pursued him the most. Kulczyk said he first got an e-mail from Fontbonne two weeks after a coach saw him play at the Adrenaline Shootout in Rohnert Park, Calif., and the staff maintained contact.
“They just seemed the most for me,” Kulczyk said. “They just kept in constant communication and seemed interested more than the other schools. That’s basically why I chose them.”
Kulczyk added that he is ready to make the transition from high school to college lacrosse.
“It will take time, I think, but I’ll pick it up pretty fast,” he said. “It shouldn’t be that hard, hopefully.”
