Newport Harbor High School has named Sarah Queener as the new head coach of its girls varsity lacrosse team.

Queener most recently coached the NCAA Division III program at Southern California-based Claremont, where she led the Cougars to their first NCAA tournament appearance in program history.

In college, Queener played four seasons at Yale and helped lead the team to an Ivy League title. She was a two-time All-Ivy League selection as well as an IWLCA All-American.
