Ladue senior attackman Sam Hurster has committed to play NCAA Division I lacrosse at Brown University.

Hurster said he also considered Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Haverford, Tufts and Middlebury before settling on the Providence, R.I.-based school.

“It was really Coach (Lars) Tiffany who drew me to the program,” Hurster said. “He was really nice, and I felt comfortable that I could play for him for the next four years.”

Hurster added that he’s pumped to take his game to the next level.

“I’m very excited and a little nervous as well,” Hurster said. “I will definitely be spending a little more time in the gym and preparing as much as possible.”
