St. John’s senior defenseman Ryan Cordill has committed to play NCAA Division III lacrosse at Kenyon College.

Cordill said he also considered Denison, Hamilton and Oberlin, but he settled on the Ohio-based school after meeting the team.

“Their coaches and players made me feel really comfortable with the team,” Cordill said. “They seemed like a tight-knit group, and I wanted to be a part of that.”

Cordill said he’s looking forward to playing lacrosse at the next level.

“I feel like it’s going to be an exciting challenge,” Cordill sasid. “I’m going to put in the hard work in the spring and summer so that I can be as ready, physically and mentally, as I can be for college lacrosse.”
