TEX HS: Regan Bosch Takes Over at Houston Episcopal
Houston Episcopal has named Regan Bosch as the new head coach of its girls varsity lacrosse team.
Bosch replaces Jess Riley, who has transformed the Houston Episcopal program over the last few years from a doormat to a major contender.
A native of Annapolis, Md., Bosch, 23, played four seasons of NCAA Division I lacrosse as a goalie at Duke University. This will be her first varsity head coaching position, although she has coaching experience on summer club teams.
Bosch takes over a team that has nine returning starters and is expected to be a contender for the Houston city title and the Texas state title.
“I’m nervous and excited,” Bosch said. “Jess Riley started a great program here. I don’t have to make any changes, really. They really performed well at SPC, coming in second, and I’m building on the great foundation that was left for me.”
