TEX BOYS: Pierce Ingram Commits to Goucher College

Westwood senior middie Pierce Ingram has committed to play NCAA Division III lacrosse at Goucher College.

Ingram said he also considered Washington & Lee and Colorado College before he settled on the Baltimore-based school.

“I liked the area up there,” Ingram said. “It’s a great town, and I like the program they have. They’ve got a good coach and a small roster, so hopefully I’ll get a lot of playing time.”

Ingram added that he’s pumped to take his game to the next level.

“I’m hoping to be able to keep up with the change of pace,” Ingram said. “I’m just real excited about it. It’ll be a good change.”

Ingram is one of two Austin-area players to commit to Goucher. He will join McNeil senior middie Ben Marrone.
