Everyone was saying LO will upset OES nope got slaughtered but what was suprising was Sunsets performance they came out strong and just died guess they dont have the bench like Lincoln does cause i mean 15-7 pretty much a blow out

Here we go again - another Lakeridge hater (of which there are many). The fact that so many hate us - simply means that we are doing the right things - and doing them the right way. You are talking about a program that has made the playoffs in every year of its existence - a program that has the most state titles - a program that sent the 1st Oregon high school player to a high profile division one program - a program that consistently graduates high quality lacrosse players and young men. A lot of former Lakeridge players are not only doing well on the next level - but have also been recognized by the national media for their accomplishments. A bad year for Lakeridge would be considered a great year for a lot of other programs. Yes it sure feels good to be a "loser". Please list the accomplishments of whatever "great" program you play for - and let's guage how it matches up to ours. GO PACERS!!!!!

I already stated that anything less than a State Championship is considered a bad year - so your comment about us denying the fact that we had a bad year - makes no sense. Like all Lakeridge haters - you have no idea what our program is really like; we knew that we didnt have any super stars this year - thats why the team relied on its defense - and utilized a ball control offense. Well - let's hear it - what program do/did you play for? You're bashing one of the best programs in the state - and you won't even identify your team/program. Let's see how it measures. Lakeridge lost 3 games to Oregon teams this year - and one game was an overtime loss. We also lost key players to injuries this year. Our best middie played the Lincoln game with a torn miniscus and a broken rib. We finished 2nd in the league and made it to the quarters where we got ousted by a very good Lincoln team (defending state champs). If this is your definition of a bad year, let's hear how your team performed this year. We are young - our top scorers against Lincoln were sophmores and juniors - and we have the best freshman class in the state. We also bring back the most underrated goalie in the state. We also have the nastiest 5th grader in the state - this kid has better stick skills than most high school players. People forget that the league championship (TRL) last year had to go thru three tiebreakers - and that we lost only one game to an Oregon team last year. Yes you are right - we really suck:) Like I said - anything less than a state championship is a down year for us - how many programs are measured by that standard?

They lost to the 1 and 2 teams handedly. They lost to Sunset in a game they dominated. They lost to one of the top teams in western Canada in a close game.

They have a challeging schedule. They don't sit around like Tigard waiting to beat up crap teams for an entire season. I would put them ahead of Sunset as well because they are better, but that loss hurts them bad.

Well lots of times rankings and polls have to be based off assumptions, because all teams can't play each other. Lake Oswego has lost to the top 3 teams, and has beaten lakeridge, west linn and southridge so I think it is fitting they are at 4. Tigard hasn't played in very many challenging games.

Well I will agree with jury being out, but remember Jesuit was down two of its key players. a Loss is still a loss and Tigard is now right where I think they belong 3rd in metro. If they can win out the rest of the league play than I will step back and agree, but until than Tigard is better than previous years but still needs to grow. All I saw on the field for Tigard was speed, stick skills were low (both teams were having troubles with this).

Great game by both teams. Pretty bad officiating both ways. Jesuit was without two key players, including their best attackman...but no excuses. I was very impressed with Tigard. They had a handful of strong players, particularly in the midfield. Can't wait for the rematch in a few weeks.

Since Tigard and Jesuit were tied through the first half and then Tigard led through part of the second half, and then only lost by 1 point, I'd say the jury's still out. Too bad there was a really bad call near the end when Omar was clearly shooting at the goal and not just making a pass.
