HS: Northwest Invitational Announces 14-team Field

The 2010 Northwest Invitational has gone international.
The field for the tournament has been announced, and there will be 14 teams from five states and one Canadian province taking part this season.
The event, which will take place March 26-28 at Mercer Island High, Bellevue High and Islander Middle School, will once again feature Washington state powers Mercer Island, Issaquah, Bainbridge Island and Bellevue. Curtis and Skyline will also represent the Evergreen State.
Palo Verde will come from Las Vegas, Nev., Timberline will represent Idaho for the second straight season and two British Columbia based teams -- New Westminster and Claremont -- will also participate. Lincoln, Lakeridge and Sunset will represent Oregon.
Coming from the East Coast, Lakland/Panas of New York will be making its second appearance at the event.
