NorCAL HS: Northern California Names All-American Selections

June 10th, 2009

The Northern California chapter of U.S. Lacrosse has selected nine players to the All-American team. Players were nominated by their coaches and voted on by a committee of regional coaches and league representatives.

Four additional players were chosen as Academic All-American.

“We are extremely proud of the 2009 All Americans,” U.S. Lacrosse Northern California Chairman Greg Angilly said. “They are outstanding young men on and off the lacrosse field and represent the best of Bay Area lacrosse. Their talents on the field further display the continued growth of the sport of lacrosse in our region.

“These young men earned the respect of their teammates, opponents and coaches, and we wish them well in their college careers. We are equally proud of our Academic All Americans who represent the best and brightest in their respective classrooms.”
