MEN: No. 11 Colorado State Thrashes No. 18 Lindenwood, 17-4

Senior attackman Paul Larson and junior attackman Cooper Kehoe each registered a co-game-high five points to lead No. 11 Colorado State to a 17-4 thrashing of No. 18 Lindenwood in an MCLA Division I game Friday night in St. Charles, Mo.
Larson scored three goals and dished a pair of assists, and Kehoe had two goals and three assists, as the Rams (2-0) won their second straight to start the season.
Sophomore middie Greyson Konkel scored a game-high four goals, junior middie Garrett Fugier had four points on two goals and two assists and freshman attackman Austin Fisher finished with three points on two goals and one assist for Colorado State.
Rounding out the offense for the Rams: Senior middie Luke Miller and freshman middie Alex Devlin each had a goal and an assist, and sophomore attackman Stephen Unkrich and freshman middie Dustin Grybinas each had a goal.
Lindenwood (1-3) lost its third straight.
Colorado State led 5-0 at the end of the first quarter, 10-2 at halftime and 13-4 going into the fourth quarter.
“It was great, because we put a full game together,” Colorado State head coach Alex Smith said. “From start to finish, we had a hold of this game. We dominated this game, and we felt really good about that.”
