Wheat Ridge senior middie Nick Ossello has committed to play NCAA Division I lacrosse at the University of Maryland, Farmers head coach Chris Knott said.

Knott described Ossello as a fierce competitor who excels in all aspects of the game.

“He’s tenacious,” Knott said. “He’s great on offense and defense, he’s got a great shot, he’s great on face-offs; he’s just got an all-around, complete game.”

Knott added that he believes Ossello will make it on the East Coast.

“I think he’ll be successful due to the fact that he’s such an athlete,” Knott said. “There is no quit in him. His work ethic and how hard he plays on the field is second to none.”
