From the very start, Billy Dineen was a leader for Creighton Prep's boys lacrosse team.

“Even as a freshman, he came up to me and asked, ‘Coach, what do I need to do to play (more),’” Creighton Prep head coach Steve Haney said. “No other freshman had ever done that. He put his work ethic together, and by the end of his freshman year, he saw significant playing time in the state championship match.

“Every year after that, he became more and more of an integral part of our offense.”
