NEB HS: Nebraska High School Lacrosse Association Adds Two

The Omaha Metro Area Lacrosse League has expanded from six to eight teams and will now be known as the Nebraska High School Lacrosse Association.
The league has added Omaha Burke High School and Lincoln Unified. That will make the 2009 season the first in league history in which a team competes from outside the Omaha area, thus, necessitating the name change.
“I’m excited, because Burke is our first high school in the Omaha public school district, which is the largest in the state,” Creighton Prep head coach Steve Haney said. “The fact we’re also expanding to Lincoln is also a great thing in my mind.”
