SoCAL HS: Mt. Carmel Replaces Disgraced Girls Coach

Mt. Carmel has named Ranessa Santos as the new head coach of its girls varsity lacrosse team.
Santos has replaced Rob Alarcon, who was fired in disgrace in January after being arrested for allegedly sexting a student at another San Diego County high school, where he was a volunteer soccer coach.
Santos is a Mt. Carmel alum, and she played four seasons of NCAA Division I lacrosse at a defender at UC Davis.
Mt. Carmel is 1-0 under Santos. The Sun Devils won their season opener, 15-4, over Spring Valley Monte Vista on Friday night.
