COL GIRLS: Molly Carstensen Signs With UC Davis

Mullen senior middie-attack Molly Carstensen has signed a national letter of intent to play NCAA Division I lacrosse at UC Davis.

Carstensen was a first-team, All-Centennial Conference selection as a junior. Last season, she led Mullen in draw controls, caused turnovers and assists.

“She has great ball control,” Mullen head coach Ali Craig said. “She’s just a great player. She’s really strong at seeing the field and utilizing her teammates, and she’s a great finisher.”

Craig said she believes Carstensen will be a strong player in college.

“I think she’ll do great,” Craig said. “She’s just very committed and dedicated, and she has the right mentality to compete at that level. Her skills are at the level where she can be an impact player.”
