Capistrano Valley senior Matt McCall has committed to play NCAA Division I lacrosse at the United States Air Force Academy.

McCall, a 6-foot-6, 225-pound defenseman, is an imposing presence and almost always the biggest player on the field at the high school level. As a junior, he was named first-team All-South Coast League and picked up 102 ground balls.

McCall has been on Capistrano Valley’s varsity team since his freshman season.
