Former Columbia Hickman middie Mason Poage has committed to play NCAA Division III lacrosse at Carthage College.

Poage will be joining the Kenosha, Wis.-based program after taking a year off. Poage graduated from Hickman in 2008.

“Mason sat out this past year, but he was one of the top athletes playing lacrosse in Missouri during the 2008 season,” Carthage head coach David Neff said.

“He really has the potential to help us on both sides of the midfield and gives us a lot of versatility of where he’ll fit.”
