Stadium senior middie Martin Park has committed to play NCAA Division III lacrosse at Wittenberg University.

Park said he also considered Randolph-Macon and St. Vincent before settling on the Springfield, Ohio-based school.

“I thought it had the right blend of lacrosse and academics,” said Park, who plans to pursue a degree in Political Science. “I really enjoy Coach (George) Harris’ coaching style, and I felt the team is very competitive. The school is the right size for me, and it offers what I’d like to do after college.”

Park added that he is fired up to take his game to the next level.

“I’m really looking forward to an up-temp, fast-style game,” he said. “I’m hoping to spend the spring and summer getting ready for it.”
