November 12th, 2009
St. Louis University Jesuit High School has named Mark Seyer as the new head coach of its boys varsity lacrosse team, the school has announced.
Seyer takes over for Ron Kelam, who led the Junior Bills to the Missouri Scholastic Lacrosse Association Division I state championship last season.
A former NCAA Division I player at Providence College in Rhode Island, Seyer earned first-team All-State honors at DeSmet Jesuit, where he played on two state championship teams, according to a news release. Seyer has most recently served as an assistant coach at DeSmet Jesuit.
“Mark brings a wealth of playing and coaching experience to the job,” SLUH Lacrosse Board President Mary Reichenbach said in a news release.
