ORE GIRLS: OGLA Playoffs: Lincoln Tops Portland Jesuit, 14-9

Senior attack Lindsey Campbell registered a team-high six points on five goals and one assist to lead Lincoln to a 14-9 victory over Portland Jesuit in an Oregon Girls Lacrosse Association quarterfinal Thursday night.
Sophomore middie Natalie Ancona added four goals, senior attack Isabel Osgood-Roach had four points on two goals and two assists and senior middie Sarah Kessler finished with four points on a goal and three assists to help the Cardinals (16-2) advance to the state semifinals.
Lincoln will next play Lake Oswego on Monday night, May 18, at 8 p.m., PDT, at Tualatin Hills Park in the second game of a state-semifinal doubleheader. It will be the teams’ first meeting this season.
“We need to remember the basics and just play our game,” Kessler said. “We need to get fired up.”
On Thursday, senior attack Emma Rogers and senior middie Meagan Fuchs each had one goal to round out the scoring for Lincoln.
Defensively, senior goalie Beau Taber saved 18 shots.
Portland Jesuit finished the season 13-5.
“I feel like we really pulled it together and played great,” Kessler said. “Our defense was really communicating, and our connections down the field and on attack were very strong.”
