Defensively, freshman goalie Will Ehrman saved 13 shots for the Rampage.
In defeat, junior attackman John Tierney had a team-high three points on two goals and one assist for Blue Valley West (3-6), which split its two games in the Cornhusker State. Blue Valley West opened its trip Saturday with an 8-6 win over Creighton Prep.
The Jaguars’ game against Omaha Burke on Saturday was suspended in the first half due to weather and will not be completed.
On Sunday, the game was tied, 2-2, at the end of the first quarter, Lincoln led 4-2 at halftime and the Rampage were ahead 7-3 at the end of the third quarter.
“I think it’s great for Nebraska lacrosse,” Lincoln head coach Nate Hoeckelman said. “We’re just using this as a stepping stone to continue with the rest of our league schedule.”
