Larry Ferdig has stepped down as the girls varsity head coach at Riverton High School and taken over as the Utah Lacrosse Association commissioner for girls lacrosse.

Ferdig led Riverton to a 29-7 record over three seasons, leading the program from Division II into the top-flight Division I. Ferdig has also been named assistant coach at Westminster College, where he will work under former Woods Cross head coach Niki Harding.

David Oka has been named the new girls varsity head coach at Riverton.
