Evergreen High School (near Denver, CO in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains) has an opening for a JV head coach. Our lacrosse program is now in its seventh year. Evergreen is located 20-30 minutes west of downtown Denver. The ideal candidate will have previous middle school or higher coaching experience with the ability to develop practice plans, team philosophy and lead a group of 25 or more athletes. Highland Park (Tex.) Seeking Youth Coaches
Highland Park Boys Lacrosse (Dallas, TX) is actively seeking coaches for the Youth level program for the 2009-2010 fall and spring seasons. Players range in age from 5th through 8th grade (ages 10-14). The HP program has more than 175 kids participating at this level across 7 teams. The objective of the program is to develop basic lacrosse skills both individually as well as in game situations within a well-defined system, preparing the kids to enter the high school program.
 
The HP program is one of the most successful lacrosse programs in Texas history, with more than 450 boys participating in grades 1-12 across 23 teams and winning 4 out of the last 6 state high school titles. This is a paid position, commensurate with experience and commitment level, but also must be viewed as a labor of love!
 
Requirements include:
*Deep lacrosse experience, both playing and coaching; preferably up through the collegiate level
*Ability to work within a defined system
*Ability to lead by example with a disciplined approach and good communication skills with parents
*High integrity and values with a heart for kids!

Oak Park (Calif.) Seeking New Boys Varsity Lacrosse Coach
Oak Park High School is seeking a new boys varsity lacrosse coach. Oak Park was the 2007 undefeated non-CIF boys lacrosse state champion. Oak Park has had several players receive NCAA Division I scholarships, and four of the players were recognized as All-Americans. Their feeder program is very strong; the 8th-grade team won the Southern California Lacrosse Association championship. Oak Park is excited about maintaining a strong program. Chaparral (Ariz.) Seeking New Boys Varsity and JV Head Coaches
The Chaparral High School Firebird Lacrosse Club, located in Scottsdale Arizona, is seeking experienced coaches for the 2009-2010 season, which typically runs January through May. Chaparral is a well-respected, sought-after club to play for and a dominant power in Arizona Lacrosse. The Chaparral Firebirds have an incredible record, with an impressive 6 state championships and 4 times runner-up.

The Chaparral Firebirds are associated with Chaparral High School as a club sport; lacrosse in Arizona is not yet AIA sanctioned. Commitment from players and families is critical, and we are fortunate to have a high level of ongoing support from our community and volunteers that is second to none.

The Firebirds typically play 11 Division I games, both at the varsity and JV levels, and five varsity exhibition games. Conditioning will begin in late October, with fall practices following. Practices are typically held from 4-6 p.m., during conditioning and pre-season and move to 6-8 p.m. during the regular season.

Experience with high school coaching and a strong college resume preferred. Salary: Negotiable.

Newport Harbor (Calif.) JV Head Coach
Newport Harbor girls lacrosse is looking for a new JV head coach. Preferable qualities are coaching experience at the high school level, collegiate playing experience, good administrative skills to interface with CIF league officials, ref assignor, Newport Harbor High School staff, etc. Walk ons must have flexible work hours due to some early scheduled games during the season. Needs to be certified in CPR and first aid (may be provided by school). Must take necessary CIF coaching courses (online). Available June 1, 2009.
