LXM: First Event Coming to Orange County on Nov. 21

LXM Pro Lacrosse will stage its first event on Saturday November 21 in Orange County, the organization has announced.
The event will be an all-day extravaganza featuring lacrosse, music, clinics and even a Hollywood casting call. The event in Orange County is expected to be the first of several X-Games-type festivals to be staged throughout the country.
LXM’s feature musical artist is scheduled to be Akon, and several of the game’s top players have signed on to play.
The schedule is as follows.
10 a.m.: Sports Studio Casting: Tryout for a role in upcoming lacrosse film “Crooked Arrows”
1 p.m.: Doors Open: Pre-Game Clinics with Kyle Harrison and Team STX
2 p.m.: MCLA Division I College Lacrosse: Chapman University vs. UC Santa Barbarba
4:30 p.m.: LXM Pro Showcase: 40 of the world’s top players compete in an All-Star Showcase. Includes halftime performance by LXM Dance Squad, choreographed by Paula Abdul.
6 p.m.: Live Concert. Featured Performer: Akon.
